CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
1. PART IN THE SHOE
  • Clean shoes regularly with a damp cloth or antibacterial tissue.
  • Wear breathable cotton socks.
  • Sprinkle sodium baking powder in your shoes and leave them overnight (don't forget to take them out before putting them back on).
  • Mist a very light amount of white vinegar inside the shoe and let it dry for about an hour to remove odor and kill odor-causing bacteria.
2. SHOE SURFACE PART
2.1 GENUINE LEATHER MATERIAL (LEATHER)
  • Wipe clean with a damp cloth before applying shoe wax, being especially careful with metal or shiny leather.
  • If your leather shoes get wet, fill them with newspaper and let them dry naturally for at least 24 hours - avoid direct exposure to heat or sunlight.
2.2 POLISH LEATHER MATERIAL (PATENT)
  • Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and a little mild soap
  • If your leather shoes get wet, fill them with newspaper and let them dry naturally for at least 24 hours - avoid direct exposure to heat or sunlight.
2.3 SUEDE MATERIAL
  • Let the dust/mud dry and then gently wipe with a soft brush.
  • For dirt or smudges, try using a clear or white rubber ink eraser before lightly brushing.
  • If water gets wet, absorb the moisture with a dry towel (or dry paper) and let the shoes dry naturally. Then, 'restore' the fire skin by brushing with an old toothbrush or scrubbing with a clean towel.
  • Oil or grease stains can be removed by applying a small amount of talcum powder directly to the stain, letting it dry, and then brushing with an old toothbrush to remove the talcum powder.
2.4 SHEEPSKIN & SHEARLING
  • To clean, use a specialized cleaning and preservation product.
  • To restore the bristle (or "smooth") surface after cleaning or drying, we recommend using a soft brush on the outer surface.
  • If shoes get wet, fill them with newspaper and let them dry naturally for at least 24 hours - avoid direct exposure to heat or sunlight.
2.5 ARTIFICIAL LEATHER OR RUBBER
  • Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe stains.

(*) Note:

  • When not in use, you should store FITFLOP shoes in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
  • You can use a shoe box or cloth bag to protect your shoes from dirt and moisture.
